  1. holy freaking lighting, batman! i loved it before, but wow!

lighting is my major upgrade this year. i have no idea how to do it, even with the skull and bones tutorial, but i'm gonna try. already buying solar lights to practice with during summer evenings.

now i have to make a door for my tree. that is sooooooo rad.

    1. Thanks, lighting is always tricky. I'm still figuring out what works best for my place. This display was also an experiment to see how well things could be illuminated using a prop lantern.

I've always wanted to light up my Halloween display in a more natural way. I think this is a small, but successful step towards that.

    2. Lighting has always been my biggest problem too.. I need to start playing around seeing what works best way before the big night this year! Way to fit in some mock light testing into your St. Patty's day display!

  4. As always so outstanding Dave..

I have been looking where to get bulb holder you have...I bought a couple 2 years ago at the dollar store but have used them ... I should have bought 20 of them. I like to hook them up to flicker circuits

Again fantastic, you are such an inspiration!

    1. On the top line, above the banner on the blog, there should be a search bar to the left. If that does not work click on Halloween 2011 in the labels sections to the right.
